1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions form the legal agreement between you (the customer) and See Endless Adventures. By making an enquiry, confirming a booking, or paying a deposit, you are agreeing to these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone else travelling in your group.
Please read them carefully before you book. If anything is unclear, contact us before making a payment and we will be happy to explain.
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any dispute that cannot be resolved between both parties will be handled exclusively by the courts of Tanzania.
2. Who We Are
See Endless Adventures is a licensed private tour operator based in Tanzania, East Africa. We specialise in private safari experiences, Mount Kilimanjaro hikes, Zanzibar beach holidays, and combined Tanzania and Zanzibar packages for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
We operate entirely as a private company β all bookings made through us are handled directly by our team. We are not a booking platform or marketplace. When you book with us, you are working with us directly.
3. Making a Booking
3.1 How Bookings Are Confirmed
A booking is only confirmed once we have received your signed booking form (or written confirmation by email) and your deposit payment. Until both of these are received, your dates and itinerary are not held or guaranteed.
Once we receive your deposit and confirmation, we will send you a written booking confirmation by email. This is your proof of booking.
3.2 Accuracy of Information
When making a booking, you are responsible for ensuring that all personal details β including names, passport numbers, travel dates, dietary requirements, and any health information β are accurate and complete. Errors in this information, particularly in passport or travel document details, may result in additional charges or complications with park permits and flight bookings.
Please notify us immediately if you discover any error after submitting your information.
3.3 Your Responsibility for Your Group
If you are booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that all members of your group have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Pricing
4.1 How Prices Are Quoted
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are based on the itinerary, travel dates, group size, and lodge selections confirmed at the time of booking.
4.2 What Is Included
Each booking confirmation will clearly state what is included and what is not. As a general rule, our packages include:
- Private safari vehicle and fuel

- Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
- Meals as specified (full board on safari, breakfast in Zanzibar unless stated otherwise)
- National park and conservation area entrance fees
- Domestic flights between destinations where specified
- Airport and lodge transfers
4.3 What Is Not Included
Unless specifically stated in your booking confirmation, the following are not included:
- International flights

- Travel insurance
- Tips and gratuities for guides, lodge staff, and drivers

- Optional excursions in Zanzibar (Prison Island, Safari Blue, spice tours, etc.)

- Medical expenses
4.4 Price Changes Before Booking Confirmation
We reserve the right to adjust a quoted price before a booking is confirmed if there is a significant change in park fees, fuel costs, currency exchange rates, or third-party supplier rates. We will always notify you of any change before asking for a deposit.
Once a booking is confirmed and a deposit is paid, the price is fixed β subject only to Section 4.5 below.
4.5 Unavoidable Price Changes After Confirmation
In rare circumstances, we may be required to pass on increases beyond our control, such as sudden changes in government park fees or taxes. We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs. If any such increase is more than 10% of your total trip cost, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of all payments made.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Deposit
To confirm your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost. This deposit secures your dates, vehicle, guide, accommodation, and where applicable, your Kilimanjaro climb slot.
5.2 Balance Payment
The remaining balance is due 60 days before your trip departure date. If you book within 60 days of departure, the full amount is payable at the time of booking. For bookings that include domestic flights, the full flight cost must be paid at least 60 days before departure or at the time of ticketing β whichever comes first β as flight seats cannot be held without full payment.
5.3 Late Payment
If your balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges set out in Section 6.
5.4 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer (preferred for large amounts)
- Credit and debit card (Visa and Mastercard)
- Online payment link (used for deposit and balance collection)
All bank transfer fees and international transaction charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure the full invoiced amount reaches us after any bank fees are deducted.
5.5 Payment Security
All card payments are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. We do not store your card details. For full details on how we handle payment information, please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Cancellations by You
We understand that plans change. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:
| Notice Period Before Departure | Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days | Deposit only (30%) |
| 45 to 60 days | 50% of total trip cost |
| 30 to 44 days | 75% of total trip cost |
| Less than 30 days | 100% of total trip cost |
Cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@see-adventures.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written cancellation.
6.1 Why We Have This Policy
When you book a private trip with us, we commit to a vehicle, a guide, lodges, and park permits on your behalf β many of which have their own non-refundable cancellation terms. Our policy reflects the real costs we incur when a trip is cancelled.
6.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend β and for all bookings, effectively require β that every traveller purchases comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. A good policy should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and personal belongings. If you need to cancel due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, your insurer should cover the costs under your cancellation policy.
We cannot be responsible for losses that would have been covered by adequate travel insurance.
7. Changes to Your Booking
7.1 Changes Requested by You
If you wish to make changes to your booking after confirmation β such as travel dates, accommodation level, or itinerary β we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note:
- Changes requested more than 60 days before departure may be possible at little or no extra cost
- Changes requested within 60 days of departure may incur supplier amendment fees
- In some cases, a change of dates may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, in which case cancellation charges may apply
All change requests must be made in writing.
7.2 Name Changes
Minor name corrections (typos, spelling errors) can usually be made free of charge. Full name changes on domestic flights or lodge bookings may incur fees from the relevant suppliers, which will be passed on to you.
8. Changes and Cancellations by Us
8.1 Our Right to Make Changes
We plan every trip carefully. However, circumstances beyond our control sometimes require adjustments. We reserve the right to make changes to your itinerary, accommodation, or other arrangements.
Minor Changes β substituting a lodge for one of equivalent or higher standard, adjusting a game drive route due to park conditions, or making minor timing changes β do not entitle you to compensation.
Significant Changes β changes to your destination, a substantial reduction in quality of accommodation, or a change to your departure or return dates β will be communicated to you as soon as possible. In the case of a significant change, you may choose to:
- Accept the change
- Accept an alternative trip of equivalent value
- Cancel and receive a full refund of all payments made
8.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a trip in the following circumstances:
- Minimum number of participants not met (for group departures only)
- Force majeure events (see Section 13)
- Non-payment of the balance by the due date
- Circumstances that make it impossible or unsafe to operate the trip
In the unlikely event that we cancel your trip for reasons within our control and not related to force majeure, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. This is the limit of our liability in such cases.
9. Our Responsibilities
9.1 What We Are Responsible For
We are responsible for ensuring that the services we arrange and provide β our guides, vehicles, and directly operated services β meet a reasonable standard of quality and safety.
We take your experience seriously. Our guides are professionally trained and licensed. Our vehicles are maintained to a high standard. We select our lodge and accommodation partners carefully and visit them regularly.
9.2 What We Are Not Responsible For
We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment resulting from:
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see Section 13)
- Actions or omissions of third-party suppliers β including lodges, airlines, domestic transfer companies, and activity providers β who are independent of us
- Your own actions or the actions of other members of your group
- Activities or excursions you book independently during your trip that are not arranged by us
- Wildlife behaviour β we cannot guarantee specific animal sightings, and the natural environment is inherently unpredictable
9.3 Limitation of Liability
Our total liability to you in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total price you paid for that booking. We do not accept liability for loss of earnings, consequential losses, or any indirect damage of any kind.
10. Your Responsibilities
10.1 Travel Insurance
All travellers must hold valid comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Your policy must include cover for medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation. We reserve the right to ask for proof of insurance before your trip begins.
If you choose to travel without adequate insurance and incur costs that would have been covered, those costs are your responsibility.
10.2 Health and Fitness
You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group are fit and healthy enough to participate in the activities included in your itinerary. Please inform us before booking of any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements that might affect your participation or require special arrangements.
We recommend visiting a travel health clinic at least six weeks before departure to discuss vaccinations and malaria prevention appropriate for Tanzania and Zanzibar.
10.3 Passports and Visas
You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group hold valid passports with at least six months validity beyond your return date. You are also responsible for obtaining any visas required for entry into Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Tanzania offers an e-visa for most nationalities, which we recommend applying for well in advance of travel. We are happy to provide guidance on the application process but cannot apply on your behalf or be held responsible for visa refusals.
10.4 Behaviour and Conduct
We ask all travellers to behave responsibly and with respect towards our guides, lodge staff, local communities, and wildlife at all times. We operate in areas of significant cultural and ecological importance.
In national parks, you must follow all instructions given by your guide. This includes remaining in the vehicle at all times unless your guide confirms it is safe to exit, and keeping voices low near wildlife.
We reserve the right to terminate a trip β without refund β in the case of behaviour that puts others at risk, is abusive towards our staff, or causes serious disruption to other guests or local communities.
10.5 Valuables and Personal Property
We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property during your trip. We recommend keeping valuables secure and ensuring your travel insurance includes personal property cover.
11. Third-Party Services
Some elements of your trip β including lodges, domestic airlines, boat operators, and excursion providers β are operated by independent third-party suppliers. These suppliers have their own terms, conditions, and safety standards.
We select our suppliers carefully and visit them regularly. However, we cannot be held responsible for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers, and any issues arising directly from third-party services should be addressed directly with that supplier in the first instance.
Where we have arranged a service on your behalf and that service fails through no fault of yours, we will do everything reasonable to find an equivalent alternative.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your trip, please tell your guide or contact us directly as soon as possible. Many issues can be resolved quickly on the ground if we are made aware of them immediately.
If a problem is not resolved during your trip and you wish to make a formal complaint, please contact us in writing within 28 days of your return. Include as much detail as possible, including dates, names, and the nature of the issue.
We take all complaints seriously and aim to respond within 14 days of receipt.
13. Force Majeure
We cannot accept responsibility for events beyond our control that affect your trip. These include β but are not limited to β natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics or disease outbreaks, war or civil unrest, government travel restrictions, strikes, and acts of terrorism.
In the event of force majeure, we will do everything possible to minimise the impact on your trip. Where a trip cannot proceed due to force majeure, we will work with you to find an alternative date or itinerary. In cases where no alternative is possible, we will refund whatever amounts we are able to recover from our suppliers, but we cannot guarantee a full refund in all force majeure situations.
This is one of the key reasons why comprehensive travel insurance β taken out at the time of booking β is so important.
14. Financial Protection
See Endless Adventures operates with your booking security in mind. As a standard practice:
- We pay lodge and park fees in advance of your arrival, so your reservations remain secure regardless of any unforeseen circumstances
- We hold client funds separately from operational funds until after your trip has been completed
- We recommend all customers take out travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against cancellation, medical, and other unforeseen costs
15. Flights
15.1 Domestic Flights
Where domestic flights are included in your itinerary, these are operated by independent airlines. All domestic bush flights in Tanzania have strict luggage restrictions β typically 15 to 23 kilograms per person, including hand luggage, in soft-sided bags only. Hard-shell suitcases are not permitted on small aircraft. Your specific flight’s allowance will be confirmed in your booking documentation.
Flight times are subject to change and may be affected by weather, technical issues, or operational requirements. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations by domestic airlines but will do everything possible to manage any impact on your itinerary.
15.2 Mount Kilimanjaro β Porter Luggage
For Mount Kilimanjaro treks, each climber is permitted a maximum of 15 kilograms of gear to be carried by a porter, plus a day pack carried by the climber themselves. Excess weight cannot be accommodated on the mountain. We will send you a full packing guide with your Kilimanjaro booking confirmation.
15.2 International Flights
We do not arrange international flights. Customers are responsible for their own international travel. We strongly recommend booking flexible international tickets where possible and ensuring your travel insurance covers flight cancellations or delays.
16. Wildlife and Nature
Safari experiences are inherently unpredictable. While our guides are experienced and knowledgeable, we cannot guarantee specific animal sightings. Wildlife moves freely, and nature does not follow a schedule.
What we can guarantee is that our guides will give you the best possible experience based on their expertise and knowledge of the parks. On the vast majority of safaris, guests see the Big Five and a remarkable variety of wildlife. But we ask that you approach the safari with an open mind and a genuine appreciation for the unpredictability of the natural world β it is, after all, part of what makes it extraordinary.
17. Photography and Privacy
We may occasionally take photographs or video during guided trips for use in our marketing materials and website. If you do not wish to appear in any such material, please inform your guide at the start of your trip.
18. Competitions, Promotions, and Gift Vouchers
From time to time we may offer promotions, discounts, or gift vouchers. These are subject to their own specific terms, which will be stated clearly at the time of the offer. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined with other offers and may be subject to availability and blackout dates.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute, claim, or matter arising between you and See Endless Adventures shall be dealt with exclusively by the courts of Tanzania.
We are always willing to try to resolve any issue directly and informally before any formal proceedings. Please contact us first and give us the opportunity to put things right.
20. Changes to These Terms
We review these Terms and Conditions regularly and may update them from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in place at the time your deposit is received and your booking is confirmed. We recommend saving or printing a copy of these terms at the time of booking.
21. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please get in touch before you book.
