6 Day Fly In Mid- Range Tanzania Safari

Your adventure begins in Zanzibar, where you will be picked up and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Arusha in northern Tanzania. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide who will give you a brief overview of your journey.

From Arusha, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive at the park entrance, your game drive begins, get ready to explore the vast savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the incredible wildlife that Tarangire is famous for, including elephants, lions, and a variety of bird species.

Around midday, you will stop for a picnic lunch in a designated area within the park. After lunch, your game drive continues until late afternoon, giving you ample time to enjoy the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife encounters.

As the sun begins to set, you will exit the park and head to your accommodation, where you’ll enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation, resting in comfort as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Depart from the lodge in Karatu and embark on a scenic drive of approximately 30 minutes to 45 minutes to the entrance of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, your guide will handle the necessary legal registration at the Park Authority Offices while you take a few moments to explore the surroundings.

You will have the opportunity to observe the local flora and fauna, receive a brief but informative introduction to the Ngorongoro Crater at the Visitors Information Center (VIC), and freshen up using the available washroom facilities.

Once all formalities are complete, your exciting adventure begins. Spend up to six hours exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. Keep an eye out for the iconic Big Five rhinoceros, lion, elephant, leopard, and buffalo, as well as numerous other species that call this unique ecosystem home.

Midway through your game drive, enjoy a delicious lunch at a designated picnic site, all while taking in the spectacular panoramic views of the crater.

After a memorable day of wildlife viewing, you will exit the park and return to your accommodation, where a hearty dinner and comfortable overnight stay await you.

Over the next two days, you will have the incredible opportunity to explore every corner of the vast Serengeti National Park. Each morning, your game drives will begin just before sunrise, allowing you to witness the park waking up as wildlife becomes active. You’ll return to your lodge for a full, leisurely breakfast.

After breakfast, you’ll head back out for more game viewing, traveling through different regions of the park in search of the diverse wildlife that makes the Serengeti world-famous and much of your time will be spent tracking this spectacular natural phenomenon, following the herds as they move across the savannah.

A hot lunch will be served in the afternoon, either at a picnic site or back at the lodge, giving you time to relax before continuing your afternoon game drive.

In the evening, you will return to your lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, ready to recharge for another exciting day ahead.

On our final day in the Serengeti, you will enjoy a morning game drive through Serengeti National park, making the most of your time to witness its incredible wildlife and landscapes. After an unforgettable safari experience, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, marking the conclusion of your tour.
